A hands-on civil engineering showroom where professionals can see, handle and properly understand ironwork and geosynthetics before specifying or installing them.
The Civils Hub is the shared showroom and learning space for Wrekin and Geoworks, created for people working in civil engineering.
It exists for one simple reason: too many site problems start with decisions made without ever seeing the product or understanding how it's installed. The Civils Hub closes that gap.
It's a practical space where products, materials and systems can be explored properly, questions can be asked openly, and real-world experience is shared.
Whether you're new to the industry or highly experienced, the Civils Hub is designed to be useful, honest and worth the visit.
Experience full-size products, models and interactive experiences. Installed examples and detailed cut-throughs expose how they're made and why they perform.
Materials are there to be handled, lifted, compared and live demonstrated. Product and installation benefits are obvious rather than theoretical.
Geosyntics are displayed in layers and assemblies, showing how they interact with other materials in the ground. You'll be able to see how different products behave, where they add value, and where poor choices can cause long-term issues.
A visit to the Civils Hub is about learning things that make life easier on site and in
design offices. We focus on the practical side of civil engineering decisions.
Wrekin sessions focus on access covers, frames and gratings, and the real-world decisions that sit behind specifying and installing them.
The aim is to give you confidence that what you specify or install will perform as intended, not just pass on paper.
Geoworks sessions focus on geosyntics and ground engineering, with an emphasis on how products behave once they're in the ground.
This part of the visit is about understanding what you can't normally see, and making informed decisions before the ground is closed up.
The Civils Hub is designed for people who design, specify, install, maintain and supply civil engineering assets.
This includes:
Visits are hosted by experienced staff from Wrekin and Geoworks who work with these products
every day.
You're encouraged to ask awkward questions, challenge assumptions and bring real project problems with you.
Step inside The Civils Hub – our new customer experience centre built to show how Wrekin and Geoworks really work. Experience a hands-on, interactive space where you can get up close to our products and see the science, engineering and problem-solving behind them. Expect physical displays, CGI videos, touchscreens and live demonstrations that show what our solutions do in the real world, and why they’re trusted on site.
